Or because you are more terrified about council tax rises (which mostly hit the richer or less poor) than concerned about justice. Or maybe because you don't give a stuff if the Thames floods under tidal surge conditions because there is a big unnecessary concrete island in it for the 'planes for your Argentinian holidays. Or because you want to subsidise multimillion pound vanity busses because your rich clients invest in the companies thereby subsidised. Or because you approve of privatised education.
