It's a gentle ballad, on-the-road style, a man who wants no more of dishonest women, just him and his guitar. The song has to be at least 25 years old, and I cannot find it on the internet anywhere. I remembered a few more lyrics in the shower this morning (as you do!) "Lady and me we had a real good time, Travelling from coast to coast. Made a lot of friends along the way. Maybe we had more than most..." That's the complete first half of a verse, but Google still won't find it. It's driving me nuts! Mojo. |
