BS: PBS question

Here in NB, CAN we get MPBN, now called WMED, from Maine and it is one of my favourite TV stations. If I see that a show about Erma Bombeck is going to air tonight at 21:30 ADST (I WIIL tape it), will it be on all the other PBS stations?

Yes, it might very well be a dumb question... if there was such a thing.

No. All PBS affiliates are independent stations that make their own programming choices.

Sometimes. Nova tends to be on Tuesday nights, Nature tends to be on Thursday nights, and Mystery tends to be on Sunday nights. But other than the nationally known shows, programming is pretty much confined to the individual stations.

Some time ago I saw the program you're talking about. It's very good. I hope you're able to catch up with it. About the same time they made one about Charles Schulz (Peanuts). Another excellent program about someone in our daily newspaper for decades.

Thanks, Don. It would be if I could get the audio. I get the video but no audio... I'll find it.

Gnu, I got the sound at Don's link after I realized I'd somehow shut off my computer's sound control.

I have to remember which program turned down or muted the volume sometimes on mine. If I use Windows Media Center and mute there, I can't hear anywhere else till I go back to that program and fix it. Good luck tracking down the culprit program, gnu! Don, I did a quick search but didn't hit that page. Good results, thanks!

SOB! I left the headphone (and mic) plugged in after writing a short story using VRSofteware. I am really getting tired of getting old.

Glad to be of service!

It occurred to me that PBS often streams programs on the internet, so I thought I'd check, And lo! it worked!
