MATTHEW BRADY (Ian Clarke) Matthew Brady, forger, was sentenced by the Crown, To serve out his time in Botany Bay. He upset the law in Sydney, was further penalised, And transported to Hobart far away. In '24 he stole a whaleboat, landed round the coast. Thirteen others formed his outlaw crew. A gentleman bushranger, he did not set out to kill, The ladies found him quite respectful too.
