Ellis Paul will perform at Stone Soup Coffeehouse in Pawtucket, RI. Chris Trapper will open for Ellis at 8 PM on Saturday, May 12, 2012.

That same day from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Stone Soup Coffeehouse and St. Paul's Church are holding a blood drive.

Directions, ticket info, videos, and other details are at http://www.soup.org/

Stone Soup is a few blocks from Rt. 95 just south of the Massachusetts state line and just north of Providence, RI.

Ellis Paul has an amazing voice...at last on record. He must be really something live.   Writes some great songs too.   Too bad I'm not close to Rhode Island or I'd go see him.

I have seen him live several times, and he has always been great. He has a lot of energy and usually for his last few songs leaps off the stage and plays in the center aisle near the front of the audience. I'm always afraid that he will twist an ankle when he lands! He voice is strong enough to carry without amplification. I also like his songs.

I heard a great "mindfulness" song he wrote ...I think it's called "Moving at the Speed of Trees.

I don't think he sang that tonight, but he was great and the concert was well-attended.
