Go to your favorites list and look there. Check the arrows >> at the right end of your task bar.

It's a custom PC. I use Firefox mostly but I also have google chrome.

OK, thanks.

I take it your task bar is still there. Usually people put favourite sites there to make access to those sites faster/easier. The task bar has finite space, so to the right are two little arrows >>. There will then be a thing that looks like a file folder. Click that and it will list every site or page you have saved to your favourites. Search through, because if Facebook was added early on to favourites, it will be way down the list, and the list isn't in alphabetical order. Try that.

On some computers, Favo(u)rites is called Bookmarks.

There are frequently articles about how to undo the latest new and disastrous changes Facebook seems to be enamored with foisting on users, but most of those are directed to limited disasters.

A recent article on how to manage the beast might be of interest over a somewhat longer term to some of those addicted .

The stupid things you do on Facebook -- and how to fix them.

Despite it's cute title, the article does give some tips on things you can (and probably should) do just to manage your FB page so that it's a help (or at least one of your pleasurable self-abuses) and not an obligatory curse. Unlike the disaster articles, that blast you with "this is tough and we're the only ones who can help you fix it," the suggestions appear to be pretty general and probably very simple to apply.

It appears to me (not an addict) that much of what's offered should be applicable for more than just the latest FB-generated crisis.

Suggested reading for those who might be interested.

One of the tips given in the last link above is that you should block your employer (or school) from accessing anything except your public stuff.

(It looks easy but I'm not a user so you'll have to see for yourself how easy it actually is.)

Kendall, I seem to recall that the other day you said you "dumped" Facebook. :)

I do belong to FB but I have not yet gone to that 'Socialcam' thing they've got going. It says that if you watch a video, it will bruit it about. What's that about?
