14 May 12 - 05:44 AM (#3350594) Subject: UK Shanty Singer Chris Ricketts in Ascot From: GUEST,Phil_1982 Just a quick one to announce we have the fantastic UK shanty singer Chris Ricketts and his band at Jagz in Ascot, Berkshire this Wednesday - 16th May. Chris is one of the UK's top young exponents of the shanty tradition, and with his band (including Feast of Fiddles Garry Blakely), performs many of the clasic shanty songs, as well as some lesser known numbers. This will be a really entertaining show. Tickets are £6 in advance from Jagz on 01344 878100 or £8 on the night. There will also be a full support card - so well worth the trip out! Thanks Phil |
