Subject: Lyr Req: Greenwich Village Sue

Somebody told me their mother used to sing a song titled "Greenwich Village Sue." I found a listing for the song here (click) that says the song was written by Carey Morgan (1885-1960) and Arthur Swanstrom (1888-1940). This page (click) says it was recorded by Dick Robertson and his Orchestra in 1941. This page (click) says the song was published in 1920, but I didn't find it in the Levy Sheet Music Collection.

My resources are halfway around the world from me right now, so I can't find anything more. Can somebody post the lyrics?

My mom use to sing this song for pennies when she was a little girl---

We would all have to get up and sing a song into a mop or a broom for our microphone. My Mom always sang that song---she had a beautiful voice! I miss her so!
How about "Ten Baby Finger's and Ten baby toes" anybody know that one?
All I can remember is

Ten baby finger's and Ten baby toe's
Waiting there for me,
Down in Tennessee.
I never had a
Baby call me Dada--
Oh how glad I'll be,
When I can bounce him on my knee...

That's all I know--I have tried to find the rest--that was a song a best friend's Dad always sang when we "had a few" ---if anyone out there can help, I would sure appreciate it!
