OOPS! Please ignore previous thread. The folk and Ale weekend is 30th June and 1st July. Please come and help celebrate the birthday of one of the most Folk friendly Landladies arround. Plenty of real ale and good music. See you there.

No camping. No website. Good Intent Rochester on facebook. Pub is in John Street Rochester Kent. Beer will be in pub garden at first and then mostly in people. Mixed sessions (mostly song) pretty well all weekend in bar and sometimes in garden. Sometimes a bit more tuney in the garden but it depends. All rather free-form really.

Thanks Richard. There are also plenty of reasonably priced B+Bs within walking distance

Who can walk after a GI folk ale sing?

No one suggested that one could walk in a strait line.

Good... was wondering if there'd be a June F and A. Think we are free on both days.

Hmmm it seems this clashes with our local annual do at Blean.
Can't do two days. Lets see what the weather does.

Hope to see you with my mate Joe - he is no mean player-singer, but I'm not sure he "gets" folk...

BTW it may be that you have not yet told fiddlebird of the booking on Sunday... since she asked me what was occurring!

We'll be there on Saturday, as that's when Fisheye and Fair Maid will be going.

BIG problems for me. House move is now imminent and just can't afford the time on Saturday to do this - what with the packing and all as house is being cleared Monday 2nd. July. Can anybody run this in my stead? I'm sure it could run itself anyway.

Possibly Royston and I could if that's OK with Karen - what are the hours?

By the way is there any music on the Fri nite, or just beer?

Richard, if you could, that would be great. It's lunchtime till people fall over, but I usualy leave about 4.00, but the session, by then, has a life of it's own

That's great Richard. I usually have to leave somewhere between 17:300 and 17:45 hrs for the bus. As Growler says, the session usually has a life of its own well be fore then. Thanks for the help, it is much appreciated, and Karen is aware that I just can't make it.

It was a shame that the turnout was so low. It was great weather, but why did so many stay away? Richard and Royston did a great job !
