Still not sure whether I can make myself try the sundae though. Don't let there be any cold bacon fat in there, and let the bacon be really crisp, so you're not chewing a cold strip after the ice cream is gone from your mouth. I just dunno. |

(I would have done it myself, but I'm trying to rediscover my girlish figure, which got left in the dust 40 years ago). He said he expected it to be a little weird, but it was in fact EPIC!!! (That's a good thing, so I understand.) Soft serve ice cream, chocolate AND caramel sauces and crumbled bacon, with a half-slice added for garniture. Of course, he's a 12-year-old...but he has a pretty good palate, I think. Make of that what you will. |

Quite agree that bacon flavour ice-cream sounds to me like a bad idea; the ruination of two good foods by consuming them together. I like some combinations which others view with suspicion, cheese with apple pie, or fruitcake, or jam, are all good. So is treacle with Yorkshire pudding.
