She was 73. Born in Atlanta, TX, Clark was probably best known as an artist for one of her paintings, which became the cover image for Willie Nelson's legendary "Stardust" album. She also co-wrote "Easy From Now On," one of Emmylou Harris' better known songs." This turned up on Joe Nick Patoski's facebook feed today. SRS |

Seems to me that she and Guy and Townes van Zandt were the heart of a songwriting revolution back in the day, and we owe all three an enormous debt of gratitude. |

I am away from my record collection at moment , but I can recall many of her song-writing collaborations. Must be very sad for Guy. He has lost his "Coat From The Cold" |
