I have a degree in business. I follow business in the media. I have never heard of such a thing. As far as I can tell, he was owner, CEO and Chairman until 2002. That means full control and full responsibility until that time. But in 2002 he bought himself out "with a golden parachute." But in the mean time, tax forms, SEC filings etc said he was in control. The retroactive retirement somehow erased this paper trail? But in this time line the paper still exists. Perhaps the guy in the blue box who told Romney he could fix everything was not ACTUALLY Dr. Who? |

What I like about it is that he brought the rope to his hanging--and chose the tree. And to think, he was t h a t close to being the leader of the 'free' world. You don't "I didn't have sex with that woman" until after you're president. Then it's acceptable. |

It's looking as if the Citizen Cowards United ain't gonna be able to buy the presidential election... Congress??? Maybe different story... Here in my district, the 8th in NC, the Citizen Cowards are spending the 3rd most on any congressional district in the nation... B~ |

What's mine's MINE and what's yours is negotiable. Talk about 1984 doublespeak .... Romney wants the Democrats to apologize for making his Bain experience a major topic and ignore all his relevent tax returns(Obama should run soley on his own record)while using that very same issue to support his qualifications for the job... I could have sworn that would be Romney running on his own record. It's WMD all over again. |

From: Jack the Sailor In the primaries, he ran on his experience at Bain and took credit, not only for jobs created after 1999, but jobs created by companies like Staples, long after Bain had sold them. But talk about outsourcing, and he can't take responsibility for things that happened while he was officially, technically and legally CEO. New Romney slogan. "I know how to create jobs and duck responsibility." |
