Whitby Week Any Accommodation Available?

Does anyone have, or know of any 'reasonable' accommodation going for Whitby Folk week Friday 17th - Sat25th August. I work as a steward and so I usually camp for free but at this late date I find that I am unable to use my car to transport the camping gear up there so need an alternative. All the B&B's I have tried are already fully booked or too far away.Any suggestions?

As I posted this message I got an email offering me a room. All's well.

I will be sharing a self-catering flat with Jack Campin and his other half (and possibly Leadfingers on the sofa, if I recollect rightly). My room has twin singles in it; I am still hoping to find another female to share the room with me.

If I did, it would cost us each £125 pounds for the week (maybe even less, if Leadfingers does join the crew), which is a heck of a deal!

PM me me for more info...

We have a double sofabed in the sitting room, it's ground floor as is the bathroom, the dining kitchen is lower ground so no-one needs to get up early because breakfast is underway...or lunch. I ask £20pp a night and provide tea, coffee, milk and bread, the house is a short walk into town. If anyone wants just a night or a couple of nights that's fine, p.m. me if interested.

Need accomodation? Check out the WFW Website– I've just posted a flat available. See 'Accomodation' page at
www.whitbyfolk.co.uk/accomodation.html

When you click, the link adds, www.mudcat to the url. Just get rid of it and the link works fine.
