BS: Bane:Bain not coincidence says Rush.

The type of sharp analysis that gets Rush the big bucks!

Rush blames Hollywood for attacking Romney. Note that the Bane character was created in 1993, I think two years before Romney's company and if Romney had called Kitteh Capital at that time, the villian in the Batman movie would have to look like this Kitty. And the worse connotations would have been avoided.

Perhaps they will rename it retroactively?

America does at times think it's Hollywood. By course, it may or may not be.

Rush thinks that everything in the world is about him or about what interests him. For most people that would be a debilitating mental illness. For him it is a career.

"The kind of people that would draw that comparison...", he says. Like him?

What a joke he is.

Of course, the fact that Bane, the 'comic character' (do I need to disambiguate that comment) takes his name from a noun found in any dictionary means that this predates even DC's use of the name.

bane noun
1. a person or thing that ruins or spoils: Gambling was the bane of his existence.
2. a deadly poison (often used in combination, as in the names of poisonous plants): wolfsbane; henbane.
3. death; destruction; ruin.
4. Obsolete . that which causes death or destroys life: entrapped and drowned beneath the watery bane

So why was Romney's firm named "Bain" in the first place? Was he inspired by the Batman film?

My guess is that Limbaugh will not retract his statement either. He'll probably double down and insist that he's right and everyone else is wrong. It's all a big coverup by the mainstream media.

The bizarre and frightening thing is that there are actually people running around outside the asylum who are convinced that that gasbag is the Voice of Truth!

When does the next train leave for Alpha Centauri!?

A former friend on another forum believes that Limbaugh "is the finest political thinker of our time."
