We are generally well behaved and play well enough not to be a total embarrassment. Any information would be gratefully received. 19 Jul 12 - 06:15 AM (#3378646) Subject: RE: Sessions near Brighton July/August From: Will Fly The Bull in Ditchling is 20 minutes away by car, and we have a monthly session there on the last Sunday of the month - 29th July's the next one. It's an eclectic session with a good core of traditional tunes. Everyone is made at home - we particularly welcome non-regulars - and all musicians get a drink from the hosts on the night. This month's crack is being hosted by Julian Burton, the saxes/melodeons player from Unreel (our ceilidh band) and yours truly, also from Unreel. We make sure everyone gets a look in and does what whatever they'd like to do. Come along if you aren't too tired - you'd be very welcome. Starts around 8pm, finishes around 10.30pm. Parking in the pub car park or in the nearby village hall car park. The Bull |
