Rather like sound recording in fact: you won't really know until you reach the future. If the tooth remains tender to bite on, it's either a too high filling (easily done - easily fixed) or an abscess developing; anyway go back for a quick check. |

From: Bonzo3legs Thanks, It is gradually settling down now, my dentist described the work he did as "serious gum and tooth surgery", and he is one of the best. It was interesting, albeit rather unpleasant, that the final polishing was done using a very slow speed drill, which reminded me of going to the dentist in the 1950s! |
