Amazing how someone with almost no interest in folk song could create such a good, not great, song.
No one at his funeral even knew he wrote songs!

"No more for me long hauls down to Borneo"

I will raise a glass and sing it in remembrance.

I'm sorry Vic, hope he went easy. We'll sing 'Song for Vic' in his honor at the pub next time.
Blessings

I never knew Ken personally, but often sang Song For Vic...
A lovely song.   RIP Ken.

If we're lucky I might just get Vic to sing "His" song on our next Second Saturday. It is amazing how this song has gone around the World. It was written by Ken for Vic so that he wouldn't scare the girls away by singing miserable Folk Songs I've heard it in Australia and U S A and people have been amazed that it is not "Traditional" and that it was not written by "such and such" a singer
