Denny was born in Boher, Co Limerick and has moved back to the area having resided in the UK for eighteen years. He has been involved in traditional music for about thirty years. He attributes Clare, Galway and Limerick musicians as being fundamental to his original style, and has been influenced by many guitar players during his time in the UK. He is also a commanding singer with a compelling, exciting delivery. He & Chris Sherburn were founder members of the band Last Night's Fun & have worked together for about 20 years.
        
The workshop will cover developing a personal style through approach and expression. The format will look at how we find our own voice both vocally and within the guitar. Some music will be sent out in advance.

We still have places for this. It's in the John Harvey Tavern, opposite Harveys Brewery in Cliffe High Street. Denny and Chris Sherburn perform at Lewes Saturday Folk Club at the Elephant & Castle in the evening.
