11 Aug 12 - 05:59 AM (#3388657) Subject: Totternhoe Music Fest 11/12th Aug From: SallyM If you couldn't afford tickets to the Cropredy festival, and are worn out from armchair athletics, then what better way to spend a hot sunny weekend than listening to wonderful music under the shade of damson trees with a tall glass of a chilled brew in your hand. Yes, the great John Dun (nee Stevens) has organised another OLD FARM INN (OFI) Summer Music Festival again in Totternhoe, just west of Dunstable - starting TODAY 11/12th August! There is also a beer festival (12 real ales) including Summer Lightning, Batesmans XXXB and London Porter all particular good beers, food is also available to soak up the beer. It is in aid of charity (Prostate Cancer UK) Times are Sat 11th Aug. 12:00noon - 11:00pm Sun 12th Aug 12:00noon - 6:00pm We are starting each day with a 1-2hour singaround. Then a host OFI local acts include unaccompanied singers, Ukelele band, covers bands, Jazz trio, Rock Chorus, trad.artists, soloists, singer/songwriters and a Rock band. We would love to see some of you singers and musicians in the singarounds. Take the A505 out of Dunstable toward Aylesbury, as you leave Dunstable there are a series of mini roundabouts turn right at the roundabout AFTER the petrol station(signposted Totternhoe) down the hill at the playing fields in the village turn left and the OFI is 200yds on the right.
