Sadly(for them), the latter route is usually permanent... :-) However, in many cases if not all, this is usually no reflection on their talent. In many cases too, they are still popular. Usually, it's just a case of emerging and more fashionable acts "having their moment". Anyone out there who has had experience of moving up or down the league table? Any suggestions for good acts who should be given much higher prominence..e.g. the large print as opposed to the "add ons" etc? |

Nevertheless, I'm sure the amount of recognition you get is pretty well dependent on the amount of work you put into letting people know you are there. Mary and I deliberately stopped promoting ourselves a couple of years ago because we were getting too much work to fit round my day job (but definitely not enough to enable me to give it up, that's a very different matter!). We're going to start pushing a bit harder now - let's see what happens! |
