Gilmore-Roberts, Tun Wells 8th Sept

I'm putting on Katriona Gilmore and Jamie Roberts on Sat, 8th Sept, at The Forum, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK.

Although The Forum is more of an Indie/ Rock venue, I've arranged a certain amount of seating (not pre-allocated) as I know some of the potential audience won't be up for standing all evening. Should be enough seats for everyone who wants to sit, cabaret style grouped around tables, unless response is way beyond my expectations.

Starts 8pm. There'll be a local support act and a bar running throughout. A mere £8.00. Tickets from the "Listings" section of the Forum website:

Should be a good evening, and those of you local to the Kent/ Sussex area who up to now haven't experienced the delights of The Forum, here's your chance to see a gig in a converted Edwardian toilet block and marvel at how they literally did "build things like a brick shithouse" in the past!

Refreshing this one again....support act is Tom Haacke, a young local guitarist/ singer-songwriter.

Should be a good gig.

Well, Local & Live's over now, so all you lot on the Sussex/ Kent borders (and even into Surrey) can concentrate on getting along to this event.

How often can you say you've been to a gig in a converted public toilet? Not only that, but a converted public toilet voted "best small venue in the UK" by NME in 2012!

Get along there, see the bizarre wall sculptures and paintings, admire box-office guru Wolf's dreadlocks and avoid the soundman's flailing legs as he slides down the pole next to the bar from the high-level sound desk.
