Lyr Req: I'm the Boy to Freeze 'Em (Matt McGinn)

From: Owen Woodson

Sometime in the 1960s, Matt McGinn wrote a parody of Bold O'Donahue about the then British Prime Minister, Harold Wilson.

All I can recall of it is the chorus, which went:

I'm the boy to squeeze 'em
And I'm the boy to frueeze 'em
A silver tongue'll please 'em
And I'll tell you what I'll do.
I'll tie their arms, I'll tie their legs,
I'll tie their tongues up too.
And I'll kick them in the teeth like the Tories never could do.

Can anybody remember the rest of the song?

Many hopeful thanks.

Thanks for that John. Managed to find the page I was looking for but it says it's under construction.

If anybody else has the words I'd be awful glad.

You can contact the family via the page I linked. I'm pretty sure they'd send you the words, that is if someone doesn't come up with them on here.

According to 45cat.com, Hamish Imlach recorded a song called I'M THE BOY TO FREEZE 'EM in 1966, with "McGinn" credited as songwriter.
