Subject: The Angels Rejoiced in Heaven last Night

I heard some folks play this recently. I'd never heard the song before but suspect that it is well known to many in this group. I have been running around with the melody in my head, have been picking away at it but have only lyric fragments and could benefit with some chords if that were possible.

The chorus begins, "The angels rejoiced in Heaven last night" and has other fragments such as "Dear God, make it right" and "I never saw my daddy inside a house of God".

Sourdough... it is a Louvin Bros song, and I have it on LP by Gram Parsons and Emmy Lou Harris. I'll transcribe it for you as soon as I have a moment, unless someone beats me to it.
