The programme includes three one-hour workshops on: • Bridging generations (led by Nora Mulready & Debra Cowan) • Funding approaches (led by Mike Sparks & Peter Slavid) • Thriving through cooperation (led by George Papavgeris & Brian Heywood) interspersed by performances from: BarlowCree (Cardiff) Ben Church (Manchester) Debra Cowan (Massachusetts, US) Fran Smith (Leeds) Thrup'nny Bits (Warwickshire) Up to three delegates from each London Folk Club/Venue admitted free (includes free admission to the evening Showcase Concert). Would love to be a fly on the wall but I hope that this will be well attended by Club organisers. I'm sure that any remaining showcase tickets will go like hot cakes! This really does look like an excellent way of keeping the music live for Folk, well done you lot! |
