Folk21 & EFDSS present
A London Networking Day
with Featured Artists & Showcase Concert
Saturday 23rd February 2013, 12:30 (registration from 12:00)
Cecil Sharp House, 2 Regent's Park Road, LONDON NW1 7AY
Trefusis Hall/Storrow Hall/Bar
Free for Folk Club/Venue Organisers
(Showcase Concert also open to the public, see ticket prices below)

A day of workshops, discussions and networking opportunities, including performances by Featured Artists from across the UK and US and ending with a Showcase Concert headlined by Robb Johnson.

The programme includes three one-hour workshops on:

• Bridging generations (led by Nora Mulready & Debra Cowan)
• Funding approaches (led by Mike Sparks & Peter Slavid)
• Thriving through cooperation (led by George Papavgeris & Brian Heywood)

interspersed by performances from:

BarlowCree         (Cardiff)
Ben Church         (Manchester)
Debra Cowan        (Massachusetts, US)
Fran Smith         (Leeds)
Thrup'nny Bits        (Warwickshire)

Up to three delegates from each London Folk Club/Venue admitted free (includes free admission to the evening Showcase Concert). Fee for additional delegates (incl Showcase): £12. To book, please email folk21-london@folk4all.net or call 07810 447758 giving contact email/phone, name of the club/venue and names of the delegates.

Then, at 19:00 the day concludes with The Folk21 (London) Showcase Concert headlined by Robb Johnson

You've picked a fantastic bunch of artists there, I've seen most of them and they'd give an excellent evening at any club! Would love to be a fly on the wall but I hope that this will be well attended by Club organisers. I'm sure that any remaining showcase tickets will go like hot cakes!

This really does look like an excellent way of keeping the music live for Folk, well done you lot!
