I think it was the Cork Singers Club I heard at Ballydehob this year in Levis's bar. Fantastic session - it was the highlight for me. All the very best to you.

If all goes well I should be there next year and I look forward particularly to that session. It really was a privilege to be there: songs sung from the heart, mostly unaccompanied in a friendly, supportive atmosphere in a bar oozing with history.

I had a very enjoyable evening, lots of good singers, the club was very well attended.

Iwas given this interEsting poem by a cork singers regular Gerry Murphy, while i was at the club.
Sailors [after Neruda].
At sea for all of our storm tossed lives. we sail into some tranquil port,
Where death greets us as an Admiral[FOR THEO DURGAN]
