Reminded me of the Afrikaaner who went to his doctor complaining that he was turning Black !!
The Doc told him it was just a pigment of his imagination .

LOL Leadfingers! My very black husband is turning slightly paler after living in England. I suppose it's the lack of strong sun.

Eliza -

When stuff starts to turn whitish, most likely it's mildew.

In Seattle things turn green from the moss that's everywhere, but England probably has different fauna.

Your computer links can be any color you wish... blue is just the default. Likewise font size and name..... 97% of everyone just goes with what they are given.

In Kansas, everything is straw colored.

So, Ebbie... you did a straw poll to determine this?

I suspect it's a snow job.

JohnInKansas, the word for the category including mildew and moss is flora, rather than fauna, whether in the US or UK.

I started off a sort of pinkish beige, but I'm turning mottled.
