Those of you who used to enjoy the Wayland Radio Folk show may like to know that it has returned in the form of a weekly folk club which also broadcasts the proceedings live and unedited over internet radio every Sunday evening fron 7.00pm to 10.00pm. It's held at the Tracks Club, next door to the Railway Public house in North Elmham, Norfolk. Entry is free and anyone is welcome to come and sing/play or just listen. The format includes a booked guest spot of 50minutes with the rest of the evening taken up with floor spots from around the room.

See http://www.folkspot.co.uk/home.html for more details and to listen in on Sunday evenings.

The Folkspot Club and Radio show now has two new bases each of which will be used every other Sunday. This week the venue is the Social Club at Great Massingham near Kings Lynn and the following week Flitcham Social Club in Church Lane will be used. Both venues are warm, comfortable and have real ale bars so come along and play folks.

Music is from 7.00pm to 10.00pm each Sunday with booked guests playing for an hour from 8.00pm. Floor spots are available to other visiting musicians and singers on the night and listeners are most welcome. The whole evening is broadcast live and unedited over Internet radio, giving a potentially unlimited audience for your music.

Enjoyed playing at the nice warm new venue at Flitcham last Sunday and the presenters made us very welcome again. Great to hear that the show attracts listeners from abroad too. Looking forward to playing there again with Mc2 on 13th January.

This club deserves every success.

We're back to the Flitcham Social club this coming Sunday when our special guests wil be Mc2 featuring the songwriting and singing talents of Suffolks own Paul McCartney (no - not that one!). There's plenty of room for other guests to come along and play or just listen too.

We're looking forward to playing on the show on Sunday. Audience and other performers will be made very welcome at the new warm venue at Flitcham. It's free, has a good bar and Paul's got some great new songs to unveil in advance of our forthcoming gig at the Cratfield Poacher on Saturday 19th January.
