Excellent song, Rapparee. It is as true today as it was then....sorta like Zappa was part of the social moral conscience of his time...and his stuff still holds up.
I've posted Och's music several times. His piece 'There but for Fortune', by Baez was one of the first of it's kind on commercial radio, along with 'Eve of Destruction', by McGuire...and help shaped the consciousness of people on a huge scale!....something that today's musicians seem to be failing to do.

GfS

It's unfortunate that this is the only recording that currently exists of this song. It was a relatively new song at the time of this capture and therefore I'm a little green in my presentation of it. It's also a shame that it couldn't have been captured with a little better gear. As the sound quality suffers. In addition, if I would have had a say in the post production, I would have edited the piece to not include my tuning up in this post. Blah, blah, blah! Oh the life of a struggling artist. For what it's worth...
