Every day now I get the message "shockwave plugin has stopped" then a couple of seconds later "shockwave plugin has crashed", then obviously the images on the pages end up blacked out. I then reboot and for a while it's ok again, but can still happen again later. Has anyone else got this problem and is there a way round it please? |

Have you tried manually updating Chrome by clicking the top right corner button and then selecting "About Google Chrome" Otherwise an earlier suggested 'work around' was to open a new tab and paste about:plugins then hit 'Enter' and then manually disable earlier versions of shockwave if you find more than one installed... As it was so long ago I cant remember how effective a solution that may have been ? |
