concert DVD's

I've recently become aware of a company which is releasing
DVD's and CD's of live concerts by performers who may be of interest to list members.
Unfortunately, the two DVD's I've seen are NOT top quality - look
like n-th generation dubs of VHS tapes. Not unwatchable, but not high
resolution. Soundtracks are offered in multiple formats (stereo,
5.1, ....). The CD's are pretty much the same tracks as the dvd.
The releasing company is IMMORTAL, probably a UK outfit, but no
address info on the package, nor indication of a website.
JOAN BAEZ, SUZANNE VEGA, JIM CROCE, KATE BUSH, JACKSON BROWNE, EMMYLOU HARRIS, ARETHA FRANKLIN, BONNIE RAITT, LINDA RONSTADT, and others.
Anyone have any further information about these releases or this
company???
Best wishes, Thomas.

Hello guest,
In the US it would be a dollar shop, but no these are not
cheapies.
They are available at the usual purveyors of
cd's and dvd's, which means they are marketed through normal
distribution channels. Prices though are a wide range -
for the DVD's from 11 usd, to mid twenties for the same item, depending on seller. They are packaged in a standard dvd plastic case, and have a 4 page insert with information about the performer, concert, and list of tracks (for the 2 i've actually seen).
Caveat emptor!
Best wishes, Thomas.

Quick google later...

"Immortal" may be a Dutch Company taking advantage of 'grey area' European laws
'allowing' selling of 'unofficial' live recordings...

The legalities are all a bit dodgy and unclear ???

If so, product quality may be variable...

Expect the worst, but perhaps be pleasantly surprised.
