Funny that, I was thinking about actor Stuart Whitman today because he had a very small role in a mid-50s Randolph Scott western that was on Tv the other day.
Stuart went on to get much bigger roles and, of course, he played "Paul Regret of New Orleans" in the movie "The Commancheros".

I was going to point out that "comanchero" only has one "m". "Comanche" only has one as well. Would that have been helpful or just pedantic?

Spanish in general doesn't use double letters, except for rr and ll (which used to be considered single letters, prior to modern spelling reforms) and certain loan words.
