B.S.>Stupidity and the PC

After spending some time looking for the "How to?" I decided the fastest way is to broadcast to the whole M'Cat population how stupid I have been and can't seem to escape that state of mind.
First...How do I submit a song(s) into the Digital Trad? Second...I just realized by a click here and click there and some fast
's, I can submit a song with minimal effort. Meaning I don't have to laborsly type out every single word. Click...click...click and magic. It's called copy and paste. That only confirms how stupid I've been, now for how stupid I are....Let's don't go there!

Mudjack, we were all there at some point!

To submit a song, the main way I know of is to start a thread, use the designation "Add lyr" or whichever is appropriate, with the song title in the name of the thread, then post away.

Alternative method, but one that doesn't let people find the songs until the next version of DT comes out: go to the blue DigiTrad Search box, click on the little down arrow and select "email the Digitrad," and click on "go."

... on a sympathetic note, Mudjack, I frequently remember the worst thing about computers is they do exactly what you tell them!

I really hate this damn machine
I wish that I could sell it.
It never does quite what I want
But only what I tell it.

A computer is nothing but an amplifier of human ignorance---It permits you to make stupid mistakes with blinding speed( unless it runs under Windows). .

oh no, dick, you can not only make stupid mistakes with blinding speed under windoze, but when you make a REALLY stupid one, it almost garuntees that will be the only process that WON'T crash your system. (such as the fact that windoze allows you to delete "read only" files, to MOVE location dependent files, and has even allowed one of my users to move the complete novell operating system from the server onto his hard drive. this COULDN'T happen by mistake under dos, or any other operating system I know of, but is easy under windoze

I have made my living, my entire life, with computers. Every time I start understand the darn thing "they" invent something new. In 1965 I wrote a paper "will the last one out of the computer room turn off the lights". That paper described the coming of the PC age. Little did I know at that time that the thing would get away from me and leave me in the dust. Now I spend up to 6 hours a day on my PC, mostly in the stock market, and I can say I don't know what I'm doing. I need the help of a 10 year old to understand the thing.. The PC has brought the world to my study and I will always look at that with wonder.

Now I found the Mudcat Group. I will take all the aggravations of the PC for no other reason than having the Mudcat Group in my home. If only I could Spell, Type, and be able to put my thoughts on paper, I can't blame the computer for that.
