Lyr Req: Beech Spring

Do any of you know of an old song or hymn by the title of "Beech Spring" ? A friend says she saw or heard a reference to it, and that the words are old, but the tune is recognizable. I've looked in all the usual places and had no luck.

Several hymns share the tune. The following seems to be the original (From "The Sacred Harp, 1991 Revision")

Tune: B. F. White, 1844
Lyrics: Joseph Hart, 1759

Come, ye sinners, poor and needy,
Weak and wounded, sick and sore,
Jesus ready stands to save you,
Full of pity, love and pow'r.
He is able,
He is willing, doubt no more.

Let not conscience make you linger,
Nor of fitness fondly dream,
All the fitness He requireth
Is to feel your need of Him.
This He gives you,
'Tis the Spirit's rising beam.

Agonizing in the garden,
Lo! your Master prostrate lies;
On the bloody tree behold Him,
Hear Him cry before He dies;
"It is finished!"
Sinners will this not suffice?

Lo! th'incarnate God ascended,
Pleads the merit of His blood;
Venture to Him, venture wholly,
Let no other trust intrude.
None but Jesus,
Can do helpless sinners good.

Thanks, Nathan. My friend will be tickled to get the words to this. She's not on the 'net, but I brag up Mudcat's resources to her all the time.
