I can't believe it's 10 years since signing up to Mudcat! Anyway I'm needing to know of any regular folk/music sessions in and around the Ilkley area as my son now lives there and is missing live music sessions. Thanks in advance...............

Sorry but there really is nowt in Ilkley itself and hasn't been for a very long time. Lack of remotely suitable venues is a problem in that town, for one thing.
Yes there are the folk clubs or equivalent in both Skipton and Otley, as mentioned above. But as for sessions, of whatever kind, I've not come across any in the immediate vicinity, sad to say.
