I posted to your blog regarding this poem. Is there a way to receive email notifications when you write new ones? You are one heckuva writer and I read too little good poetry these days.

Thanks a lot, Bruce - I really appreciate your comments. I really just write about the countryside where I live and love to walk. If you want to receive email notifications, go onto the blog and at the bottom of the blurb on the right hand side you'll see a 'follow by email' space to fill in your email address. Hope you'll enjoy future poems (BTW, still playing and loving the CD you sent me a while back!)

You write really good poems from heart, mind and soul. In the parlance, they rock. Poems and Paths is a gem of a site. Many thanks for your wit, vision and clarity.

A new poem about the deserted village of Wharram Percy, up on the Yorkshire Wolds, from which the villagers were evicted around 1500 to make way for sheep. (Maybe they had more bedrooms than they needed.)
