From: bubblyrat We ( "Happenstance" Border Morris ) performed in Cheltenham yesterday ,along with ,amongst others , Phoenix Morris from Rickmansworth . All the venues were outside , on the High Street , and were very well attended and watched by enthusiastic audiences ( most gratifyingly ) BUT ...... it was SO cold ! SO wet ! We just wanted to get home afterwards ,and so missed Jonny & Vicky , Morris On , etc , and didn't go back today either, as the weather was STILL dreadful . What a bonkers time of year to hold a major Folk Festival !! Was anybody younger and more resilient able to enjoy it ? |
