The new-look website makes provision for booking tickets online this year, as well as having the booking form for people to print out if they'd rather book by post. 08 Apr 13 - 04:28 AM (#3500354) Subject: RE: Crediton Folk Weekend 12-14 April UK From: GUEST,SteveT I'm probably not going and have never towed a caravan (only a hay-trailer with a tractor - but you usually win any confrontations with those) but I am a terrible driver in a car and do live round here so perhaps my advice is relevant. (Not to suggest caravan towers are terrible drivers!!) When I go out that way I always take the A377 to Crediton then the A3072 (that's signposted to Tiverton). Cheriton Fitzpaine is about 1½ miles off to the right of that road. You've only got a short stretch of typical Devon sunken road and a couple of sharpish turns in Crediton itself if you go that way. Perhaps you'll get some sager advice from other caravaners yet. |

Mr Scarecrow and I have the honour of hosting it and look forward to seeing a load of catters there (with chocolate of course). Looks like being a great festival this year and for those of us in the frozen west midlands and anywhere else particularly cold I understand that Spring has actually appeared in Devon so it will be well worth the Journey! |

The mudgather was attended but not in the main by catters Robbie Wilson being the only one apart from Mr Scarecrow and myself. Herga Kitty was performing elsewhere at the time. We had a pleasant sing though and did eat chocolate !! |
