Your words Mick mean so much too! It's been hard to get it together, with colds, a leak in the living room, and a car that decided to drop it's suspension but we got through it with the help of good friends and unexpected family turning up.... Tony decided I should leave the country after the gig - a good move- his birthday gift to me is a weekend in Amsterdam - no he's going into the window in the red light district - someone has to pay for my car!! I'm finding an Irish Bar on Sunday ! Did I enjoy it - yes with great support and singing from the club and those supporters ( not folkies)! Would I do it again - NOOOO - will I give up - Nooo but at least now there is no pressure - and yes I managed it with the support of words as I took the wrong route and did most (not all) of songs in the first time out.
