But Annettte was always there and as an young adult, challenged with MS she showed that beauty was, once and for all, not just skin deep. It was hard NOT to fall in love with her then. Her biography is a good read with a title from a song in "Cinderella"......"A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes." Spaw |

And then to see her get MS as a young adult and to carry on with such dignity for so long - that gave me a lot of respect for her and for all who suffer from MS. It was made into a TV movie. Eva LaRue played Annette as a teenager. Annette herself appeared in the film. She was reclining on a couch and spoke softly, slurring slightly and hesitant due to MS, and told children about parts of her life. From the time I heard of her diagnosis, I thought of her whenever I heard anything about MS and wondered how she was. |
