Among other things, Wikipedia stated this: "Even if other countries have a rich folk literature, Norwegians will normally claim that theirs, through the work of Asbjørnsen and Moe, is one of the most original and rich. Their work constitutes a very important part of Norwegian identity... Some of his [Moe's]works of poetry are still cherished, not least because of the tunes set to them." I'm always searching for good new tunes. I've tried but can't find these tunes which were used for Moe's poems. Does anybody know where to find them, either as MIDI, ABC or graphics? I'm not interested in recordings right now. |
