Annual BBQ S.E. London

The annual BBQ will be going ahead as usual this year on Sunday June 16th. I have two 5 gallon barrels of beer in the making, one light and one dark so do come along and drink them for me. Bring your meat to burn on the BBQ and your voices and instruments to join in the music. I have shelter if it should rain.

Once more we won't be there as we'll be somewhere in France or maybe Spain on that date. It's my birthday the next day too - Ho Hum!

Well, you are quite a LONG way over the river Wendy, no? But if you would kindly PM me I will see if G/F fancies a long drive in the country, she likes transatlantic stuff.

All things being equal, Self and Poetry Bird should be there, voice having returned to its previous level of mediocrity.

Wevva forecasts seem to differ from dry and sunny (but not warm) all day to cloudy and damp (and not warm) most of the day to variations on those themes with one or more showers...

Linda if you remember, I'd like one of Alans CD's - will bring dosh tomorrow. Can't remember which one it was, but it was wiccan/pagan themed. I think it had a song about the green man on. Cheers!

Wevva was OK. Many thanks to Linda. The homebrew was excellent - some of the homemade wines looked a bit on the dangerous side!

A great afternoon with good music and good company. The Porcupine bitter, I would happily drink anytime in a pub. Many thanks Linda, from both of us.

Hi Linda/Alan

Many thanks for a great afternoon, both Dean and myself had a really good time, company and music were both excellent, your stout was fan dabie dozie (to quote wee Jimmy Keankie). Sometime today i will be going down to my local Wilkinson's to buy a kit and to start brewimg my own beer.

Hope to see you both very soon, cheers for now

John
