From: Acorn4 I've heard a singer called Mitch do this and think that he probably wrote it but not absolutely sure on this. He's a regular at the Kiveton Park Folk Club, near Sheffield. Haven't actually got his contact details but the club organisers can probably put you in touch:- John Rankin:- john.leslie.rankin@btinternet.com tel:0114 2489503 |

29 May 13 - 04:53 PM (#3520500) Subject: RE: Lyrics reqd - flatpack furniture blues? From: GUEST,Musket sans Ian Seems a connection here. I used to go to no smoke with Mitch. He wrote many songs but did do songs by others. I assumed he wrote it but there again I never asked. I do many of his but sadly not that one. I haven't seen him since they were guests at my wedding the other year. I moved into North Lincolnshire and just about lost touch. Going to ring at the weekend. We have been good mates 35 years so about time I went over to Worksop. I think it is on a CD I have of him somewhere. |
