As Dale pointed out, Charlotte Church is now on a Ford ad. There is a Hawaiian singer (passed away) whose voice I love and who is legendary in Hawaii, Israel (Iz) Kamakawiwo'ole. I mentioned him on the Gilligan's Island thread. He does an awesome medley of Over The Rainbow/Wonderful World. The beginning of it can now be heard on a tv ad for a website for kids. You hear the ukulele first, but the commercial ends after a few bars of him humming, before he begins to sing Over the Rainbow.
The CD with this song by Israel is called "Facing Future" in case you are interested in getting it. alice in montana |
