My heart goes out to him, poor bugger.

Love that tune.

Now... the joke... in poor taste...

He used to be able to see everbody.

Yes, I agree that is trite, at best, given the terrible position he is in. It's early, it's hot and I am grumpy.

Personally, I think he should have accepted Putin's offer. He made his point. I can think of much worse fates than living amongst the Russian people. I have a young friend, I call him "Little Volodymyr." Russian people are very intelligent. Many have great souls. My friend explained a great many things to me. Pussy Riot for example. Volodymyr told me that they deserved to go to jail. Russian people will not tolerate anyone who defiles the sacred. Things that fly over here will never fly there.

Good news! Venezuela will have you Snowden. So Behave yourself and maybe Obama won't send in a drone. Maybe Putin will help you get there if he can find a way to do it without looking like an accomplice.

No, I'm not going to be scrambling jets to get a 29 year old hacker. I see. Mr. President,
I for one would have preferred someone with more experience, someone with more than 2 lousy years in the Senate. You're not the president. I know that Joe Biden, Democrat Dick Cheney, is running the show. And Joe is a dirty player.

Hillary is going to be our next president and she will repair much of the damage that your administration has inflicted on America.

The idea that supposedly indepdendent European nations can refuse to allow a plane to fly over them because they suspect that there might be someone on board that the US government wants to get hold of for revealing apparently illegal activity carried out by the US goverment is grotesque.

Maybe Snowden could travel to a safe country by boat, providing it wasn't stopping off at any countries in the US pocket, since any attempt to board it and arrest Snowden in intnational waters would be an act of piracy. But I don't suppose that would stop them doing it.

It seems to be a natural impulse with governments - if someone reveals corruption, they go after the person who revealed it, rather than the corruption.

Insulting the President of Bolivia is a very bad move. He deserves as much respect as any world leader. We all learned a valuable lesson here, one that our neighbors to the south will not forget anytime too soon. After decades of being trampled on by the CIA, we're all a bit tired of this kind of thing.

We're always talking about immigration, securing the border etc. Ok, fine. My mom is a retired health nurse and she told me that the "migrant workers" are the nicest people in the world. They work very hard for peanuts and their first priority is family. A few years back, we had an issue where a local supermarket was making them unwelcome to come in and buy food. It became front page news and was quickly sorted out. Just the same, exactly where were the people who help gather our food supposed to get their own? Oh yeah, it got sorted out. Many people were outraged. Bunch of liberals ruining the country, right? Yeah right.

This year, they are cutting 14 positions, ten in the fire department and four cops. There's no money. We hear this all the time. But when they want to spend, money magically appears. Did you ever notice how that works? All this bitching constantly. THOSE people and their free health care and free education is it? Wake up.

County health nurse.

And yup, I am too familiar. I'm seriously thinking about shutting up. Starting right now, I'm not going to post on Mudcat all week- just to see if I can do it.

OK, Day 2 of not posting on Mudcat. But I just want to say one thing...

While I commend Latinos for their hard work and family devotion, the incident in Brazil is a grisly reminder me of how much Latinos love their knives. More personal. They are famous for it. I am one of those people who cannot stand the sight of blood.

OK, two things- I would have accepted Putin's offer except I would have asked to be sent next door to Ukraine where my grandparents were from. I'm sure it could have been arranged :-) Guess I'm just a gringo.

Day 3, Oops! Guess he does have a point of view after all. Might be be more than a 29 year old hacker nihilist nowhere man.
