Must try to get up there next year ; I have fond memories of "The Steamboat" pub near the harbour - the last time I was there , fellow HMS Eagle crew -member Duncan Bannatyne ( Dragons Den ) was arrested after assaulting the officer in charge of the liberty boats ,after which Her Majesty ,not unnaturally , dispensed with his services ! Happy days ! ( 1968) . |

Dolphins, porpoises, seals may swim past while you are singing. Sessions, singing, performances. Come and strut your stuff with a full professional sound system. Tel the Beach Bar:01343813164. Starts Friday evening at 19.30. Railway station at Elgin from either Inverness or Aberdeen. Bus from Elgin to Lossiemouth. 6 Miles from the A96. Lots of things to do whilst in the area. Elgin has a full range of shops. Lossiemouth has a good range including a large Co-op. See the lastest Euro-fighters from RAF Lossiemouth doing their thing. |
