If they pay for 4 at a time I knock 5 bucks off the price of each, for a total of $120. Here's a link to my website with my philosophy on how to teach; Teaching Folk Music Mark Ross |

I find that in this tradition my musical education as an orchestral player is a handicap as I was trained to learn by note, and so have needed to re-adjust my learning to be by ear rather than by sight.. which is a better one of the senses to have engaged in gear when music is involved! My potential guitar student has unknown experience with music... and music theory...so I do not yet know if he can read music or tablature....both of which could be helpful skills... Does anyone know a good memnomic (memory device) for the names of strings? One young person i know said her music teacher used this one?
