Exceptions to this are by and large in classical--there are lots of great symphonies, concerti, multipart a cappella pieces, etc. But people tend to forget that when given access to a studio--or a synthesizer. And music usually suffers. Interview also well worth while. Intereresting to know the parents don't always know best. Wonder what instrument her mother was advocating--if any particular one. The little snippet of "Bonnie and Clyde" was intriguing too. I wasn't convinced by "Clyde's" accent. Sounded British to me. Who knows, maybe that was on purpose. But "Bonnie" did better. |
