From: Joe Offer When he was alive, Malcolm Douglas was associated with a number of Websites that provided the terrific research information that he had collected over the years. From: r.padgett Joe, Malcolm lived in Sheffield and had associations with the Stirrings Folk magazine which covers activities in South Yorkshire and parts of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Raymond Greenoaken is the editor and was good friend of Malcolms I believe recent Stirrings issue covered the history of SRFN, and early Stirrings magazines (South Yorkshire Diary) which chronicled Malcolms input as contributor and editor Stirrings is a quarterly publication and very well worth reading for its national content cd reviews etc as wellas the local events/what's on Malcolm was also involved in EFDSS working with Steve Gardham (from Hull) on revising song books Ray |

Regarding the South Riding Folk Arts Network, there is a webpage which Mark Nielsen has tried to maintain and re-instate. More people should be aware of this and then maybe the site will be updated more regularly. |
