Hiya,
A good friend of mine and the Landlord of the Castle pub in Bradford (City Centre),Sat- Paul Chand, has asked me to invite those that can to an event he is holding in the pub this coming Sunday ( Dec. 15th)
See the following article; http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/10867766.Bradford_couple_celebrate_88_years_of_marriage/

in case you can't open the link, the party is to celebrate Paul's Mum (101) & Dad (108) birthdays, yep that's not a typo, they are 101 7 108 years young and it's also their 88th wedding anniversary.

Please come along and help us celebrate this fantastic achievement.

The event will also be used to raise money for the victims and families of the recent Glasgow Helicopter crash and a collection and raffle will take place and any donations of raffle prizes will be greatly received.

There will also be plenty of songs and music played as several of the guests who have played at the Friday at the Castle sessions have agreed to come and play,
Up to Press these include;

Phil Cockerham
Karl Dallas
Andy Hill
Jim Jarrat
Keystone Acoustics
Eddy Lawler
Den Miller
Muppett
Paul Pearson

With a possibility of more.

The Fun kicks off at 2pm and continues throughout the day, so come along for as long as you can and help celebrate a fantastic acheivement and it's happening in BRADFORD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers

Muppett

I wish I lived nearer so that I could attend, and pay my respects to this wonderful couple.God bless them both. Elaine and I have only been married 56 years. We salute them. RoyH

Muppet me old love, is your arithmetic a bit dodgy. If the lady is 101 and she's been married for 88 years she must have got married at the age of 13. I don't think this was possible in the UK (at least)in 1925.

Won't be able to make it over but hope you and the couple have a great day.

Cheers
