Please help to spread the word and keep an eye out...

My concertina was stolen from the Crown Moran Hotel in Cricklewood on Sunday 15th December 2013. It is a Wheatstone, 40 key anglo concertina with 7-fold black bellows and silver metal ends (serial number 24103). Please if you see or hear of anyone trying to sell one, or anything on gumtree, eBay or in cash converters, please get in touch. Also if you could share this post.

I'm up and down between Hull and London all the time at the moment so will keep an eye out and put the word out.

Our Chris is also in touch with lots of Anglo players. Have you put it out on Concertina.net? Gav Davenport at EFDSS would also be a good person to keep a lookout.

I'm going into Leeds this morning and I'll look into a certain second-hand shop that deals in instruments, as I'm assured by two pals of mine that they lack honesty.

An extra thing to look out for. Unless I'm wrong and looking at the wrong end the serial number is actually etched onto a metal plate as opposed to just a paper insert like mine. This would make it more difficult to remove or obliterate so it might be worthwhile looking out for one with a defaced or removed number plate as well.
